While it is obvious that Stacey is responsible for the content of this book; you should know that her spirit was the guiding force through each and every step of its publication. At times the project brought our pain to the surface and at other times it was the one thing that pulled us through and gave us purpose for living.

We gave her life and never imagined that we would have to live without her. We find it impossible to believe that the spirit as strong and vibrant as Stacey's could be so easily extinguished, even as we face the reality of her passing. We believe that this book proves that her spirit lives on and that, through her poetry, she is still impacting our world.
